To Whom it May Concern,

It was with great interest that I read your article in the March issue that discussed bridging the gap between surfing and golf. Another success factor to consider with the golfers that you have profiled lies within the development of the nervous and sensory systems, which are stressed repeatedly through balance training on the waves and with explosive strength stemming from a surfer’s swimming and paddling in. As well, surfer’s such as 16 year old Kanoa gain an edge through on the water conditioning, as the nervous system is highly trainable at a young age.
